Diggity Dudes

We have been working hard to find things to do during the day. The summer reading program at the library sounded like a great place to start. And was it ever!!! Each week they have Terrific Tuesday's and bring in some children entertainment. First up, the Diggity Dudes. They are a group that gets the kids up and dancing to funny hip hop songs. I had no idea what to expect. It took Tommy no time at all to get up and start dancing. I couldn't keep his eyes off of the guys. He would look back at me with a big grin and continue with the fun.
They had one song that was all about following the leader, he joined right in. Waving at me the entire time he went around the room.

He liked that song so much that when they started a new song, Tommy continued to walk around the room. I had to explain that it's not follow the leader if you are the only one walking around. Tommy decided that dancing was just fine and was so thrilled they stayed after the show for pictures. I was so shocked that he was interested in the picture, he is usually so cautious when meeting new people. He got right in their, gave them a high five and smiled for the picture.

We bought the CD and plan on seeing them again soon. :)
