Busy Busy

Where has the time gone. We have been so busy that February and March have come and gone.  Between getting ready for State Assessments with my students and Danny getting ready to deploy, each weekend goes by too fast.

Tommy is also keeping us on our toes. He is now crawling all over that place and interested in everything. It is great to see him look at things with such wonder.  He is now interested in pulling himself up on the couch, standing, letting go for just a few seconds and falling to his bottom, followed by a big smile and giggle. We cheer him on everything and he thinks its the best game ever. 

The weather is also getting really nice, so we are trying to get Tommy outside more. We have been on a few walks around the neighborhood. He is enjoying his stroller and is always watching the dogs explore. He loves being outside and always smiles when the wind takes his breathe away. We thought that it would be a great idea to play in the backyard the other day and introduce him to grass.  We had visions of him crawling all over the yard, chasing the dogs, and laughing the entire time. Oh were we mistaken. The minute I sat him in the grass he began to scream!! We had no idea what to do. I sat with him thinking this would make him more comfortable. He immediately found me and couldn't climb on me fast enough. This just broke our hearts. We hope this is just a phase, because we have lots of plans that involve the outdoors.
